It’s kinda sad how true this is.

So, Brett Favre is off to meet with the Vikings, which means that either Favre is a dirty, dirty liar, or that Trent Dilfer is a dirty, dirty liar. Either way, it further reveals Favre’s need for the spotlight and the world’s attention.

It’s a point highlighted in this excellent Dan Wetzel column, which inspired me to put together this handy chart comparing attention-needing NFL superstars Brett Favre(notes) and Terrell Owens(notes). They’re perceived very differently, but maybe there are more similarities there than differences. Let’s take a look.

That doesn’t mean every song on the mix was released in 2008, it’s just the songs/bands that I listened to the most last year. I actually created the mix while stuck in traffic this morning (stupid car wrecks!). That means the songs had to be currently on my iPhone. That cut my choices down a bit, but who cares. It made for a fun 5mph drive to work.

    I used openTape to create this list. If you remember I used to place everything on muxtape.com…but of course the RIAA came knocking on their door and shut them down. It’s not a total loss, because now my mixes can be found right here at http://beingboiledhurts.com/randomMix.

    Apparently, around 2:00 AM today, the Zune models either reset, or were already off. Upon when turning on, the thing loads up and… freezes with a full loading bar. I thought my brother was the only one with it, but then it happened to my Zune. Then I checked out the forums and it seems everyone with a 30GB HDD model has had this happen to them

    What makes it even better is that Microsoft’s Zune tech support is on vacation!! Gotta love that.

    What hasn’t emerged yet, largely due to the fact that MS’s support lines aren’t yet open for the day, is why these devices are failing. The evidence seems to point to a software glitch, but simple resets aren’t providing any relief. Some reports indicate that only Zunes with the latest firmware are affected, but this hasn’t yet been confirmed.

    All four people who actually own a Zune must be crying.
